River Inn at Seaside

Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Nice location within Seaside. Friendly staff for the most part. Thankful they called when they found item I had left behind.

Amazing! We are a family of four with a seven-year-old and a four-year-old, and we came to Seaside for the weekend. I was so impressed with this hotel! Check-in was fast, and the staff were friendly. While I didn’t have much interaction with the staff beyond that, they were always present, and I frequently saw them cleaning various common areas. The hotel has four floors, and we stayed on the third floor in a King river-view room — it was wonderful. There was a pull-out couch for the kids, which worked great. The room was clean, the King bed was very comfortable, and the towels were soft. I had read some mixed reviews about the breakfast, but my husband and I were really pleased with all the options. It’s more of a continental breakfast, offering a waffle machine, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, and more. My kids (and honestly, myself too!) would tell you that one of their favorite parts was the fresh-baked cookies in the lobby in the afternoon/evening. They also loved the on-site playground and, of course, the pool. The location is PERFECT! We didn’t have to drive anywhere. We walked one block over to Broadway Street, where all the food and action are, and we easily walked to the beach and the aquarium. We also appreciated the later check-out time at this hotel. Hands down, I would stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful family memories!

I love that there’s a playground outside for the kids and seating! I love how close it is to the beach honestly such a good location walking distance to pretty much everything!

Back in March, on a whim, my husband and I chose to take a little overnight trip, and we chose River Inn. Our first experience at the hotel was so nice we chose to come back to celebrate our anniversary trip. When we booked through booking.com, we had let the hotel know it was our anniversary not really sure if anything was going to happen, but I figured I'd mention it. When we checked in it was the same nice gentleman at the front as it was in March. I happened to mention how much I loved the cookies they serve in the lobby after 4 and one of the guys in the front told me what brand they were. So we make our way up to our room and they had set out some candy, a card and towels in a heart swan on our bed for us 🥹. That little gesture was so absolutely nice. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub later that evening which was pleasant and relaxing. The next day we went on a hike and when we came back the front desk guys gave me a print out of the cookies so I got the right ones like that was beyond nice of him to do that. Enjoyed the hot tub again for a little while after the hike and swan paddle boats we definitely needed that soak. The hot water and pressure in the shower was great. Bed was comfortable. Tv picture was crisp Free cookies 10 out of 10 We absolutely will be repeat customers.

We are repeat guest at this facility. Usually visiting 4 or 5 times a year. We are always treated well when we visit! The staff are professional while seeking to meet our needs/requests.
